What you need to know about Sengkang’s Rivercove Residences, the upcoming EC that is on everybody’s lips this year.
1. The only new EC in 2018
According to the HDB website, the only upcoming executive condominium in 2018 is Rivercove Residences (listed as Anchorvale Lane).
Compare this against the other sections on the page which list currently available and past ECs. While there was a veritable slew of ECs released over the past few years, this year’s EC supply pipeline looks rather limited for now.
Interested and eligible buyers must first submit an e-application indicating their interest at the showflat.
Rivercove Residences is expected to launch in the first quarter of 2018. Look out for the e-application and balloting dates on Rivercove Residences EC online updates.

Rivercove Residences is expected to obtain its TOP (Temporary Occupation Permit) in 2020.
2. It has a prime location in Sengkang
Rivercove Residences Executive condo is located along the bank of Sungei Punggol, Rivercove Residences is nestled in Sengkang, the hub of the Northeast.
It is conveniently connected by Tongkang LRT and Sengkang MRT stations as well as Tampines Expressway, residents of Rivercove Residences EC will find it a breeze to get around. These transport nodes link Sengkang up to nearby workplaces such as Seletar Aerospace Park and Tampines Central.
Residents will find that they barely need to leave the neighbourhood. Sengkang has just about everything one might need, from shopping malls (Seletar Mall, Compass One, Waterway Point among others) to leisure spaces (like Sengkang Sports & Recreation Centre) to authentic local eateries at Jalan Kayu.
Young parents will be glad to choose from a variety of schools for every level, from the upcoming Skool4Kidz to well-known institutions like Mee Toh School and Nan Chiau Primary and High Schools.
3. Residents can enjoy riverside living
With our scarce natural resources, there is only a handful of residential developments in Singapore that can boast of a riverside location like Rivercove Residences.
The tranquil Sungei Punggol forms the backdrop of one’s home here. Residents are just metres away from a run around Sengkang Riverside Park, yoga on the deck of the Sengkang Floating Wetland, or a bicycle ride along the park connector – all with serene views of the river.
At Rivercove Residences, even the landscape is inspired by the river. You can almost picture Sungei Punggol as a water source that flows through the development, with the numerous water bodies meandering through the compound
Just like on lush riverbanks, densely planted gardens screen the development from its neighbours, offering privacy along with softness and greenery.
4. It has five zones of facilities
Rather than squeezing all the communal facilities in one centralised zone, the developers of Rivercove Residences have opted to distribute them among five themed zones throughout the property.
At the Fitness Zone, play a round of tennis or tone up at the TRX fitness deck. Or head to the Active Zone, the centrepiece of which is the 50m infinity pool (perfect for lap swimming). There is also a clubhouse with gym, as well as gourmet dining pavilions for post-workout meals.
In the Family Zone, the young (and young-at-heart) can splash the day away in the 30m family pool and children’s pool, gather at the family pavilion or courtyard, or enjoy the entertainment facilities at the main clubhouse.
When it is time to unwind, practise mindfulness in the Relaxation Zone, where a zen lounge and aroma garden await. Or be one with nature at the Nature Zone, where a lookout deck overlooks Sungei Punggol and the park connector.
5. There’s a home for everyone
With a variety of smart home-ready units available, Rivercove Residences caters to buyers ranging from young couples looking for their first home to growing families to multi-generational households.
Aimed at first-time home buyers, the compact units here are built to cleverly maximise usable space.
